Hello. My name is Diane Simon and I am Ceramicgoddess, LLC. The desire to create art objects has been with me for as long as I can remember. It was not until my second year of college that I realized I could actually pursue that love as a career. After finishing my degree in anthropology I decided that I did not want to spend my life writing academic papers so I turned to my true passion and got my MFA in ceramics.
I have two small children so I took a bit of a break from producing ceramic work, during this time I explored in fiber, painting and jewelry arts. Recently I got my ceramic studio up and running again so I am so thrilled to being able to create ceramic pieces again, now I truly feel complete!
I have been obsessed with crystalline glazes since I first saw them. Now that I am not in school any more I have the time and desire to really experiment and explore my glazes. Please convo me if you are interested in a specific color and I will see what I can come up with!
