I work with whatever material takes my fancy - raw metal, upcycled broken antique pieces, silk fabrics, broken china plates... I'm a Sri Lankan living in the UK so there should be a few elephants and saris with lots of Brit influence- I love English bone china amongst many other things.

Most of my materials are recycled/upcycled. Some of my supplies come from communities and small businesses in Sri Lanka, and the rest are British antique or flea market finds.

* Craftaganza at Fabrica Art Gallery, Ship Street, Brighton - pop up designer/maker fair, 4-5th June 2012, 10.30am to 5pm

* Skylark Shop, Needlemakers, Lewes, 9am to 5.30pm, Mon - Sat

* Cascade Style - pop up events and workshops (limited pieces), dates tbc.
