Just 3 years ago my left hand had been pulled through a non-remorseful table saw that has put me through 12 surgeries of reconstruction with more to come.
I had just became a dad 2 months prier to the injury so you can just imagine the disgruntlement in learning how to be a dad and also how to use one hand.
This was no easy tragedy for my wife either, but she has stuck whole-heartily through this.
I have searched for jobs that i could possibly do but only have come up with depression and loss of hope. I began challenging myself to making these rings and have enjoyed it so much with much frustration as you can imagine and am now enthusiastic to present them to you.
After several years of hard work, I now work full time as the owner of Chasing Victory. Each morning I walk to my shop, at the end of my yard, and greet my hawk friend who sits in the tree just above my shop.
I work from 6 in the morning to 5 in the evening. I create each ring by hand (literally) with much time going into each piece. I, not only create every ring, I answer each email, ake the photos, package and ship each order. When I get off work I wrestle with my daughter, try to be the best husband I can be and end my day with reading till I fall asleep.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I wanted to give you a sense of me and how this shop came about. I want to be an inspiration for others and encourage others to keep chasing victory...
