With November comes the fall back of time. We gain an hour of sleep which is a lovely surprise come morning when we realize we can roll back over and shut our eyes. I chose to get up and spend that extra hour visiting with all of you this morning. I am excited to write a note and invite you back into my shop to find something new to add to your collection of Fall favorites. You will find jewelry, warm wraps and scarves to give as gifts or to keep for yourself. Along with seasonal wraps, there are some with whimsical bear faces to keep you company and some that are a bit retro. There are also convertible wraps that go from a hood to a scarf to a wrap in an instant. Always something new. Be quick though, I don't always repeat a style.

Keep an eye out for my faceted ruby quartz bracelets. The red is so juicy and consistent throughout the beads - no pinks all juicy red. I will be uploading their pics some time this coming week. These will be great for that holiday party or to give as gifts. They are also fantastic for those days where you need a splash of color to brighten your day.

Today is a great day to pick up a little something for yourself! Take a peak around my shop and see if there is something here to brighten your day! I saw these gems at the gem show and could not take my eyes off of them. Even got myself a set.

To add some sparkle to your upcoming holiday season, I have listed a necklace created in natural black spinel gemstones. In my opinion this looks like an eternity black diamond necklace without the price of black diamonds and they are a precious gemstone in their own right! I fell in LOVE with this stone and I think you will too. Also, I have continued to add newer versions of my wrap that can be worn all year long and in many different ways. I enjoy my time spent here with you and hope that you will visit often. You never know what you will find here as I am constantly being inspired.

My name is Cara. I am the jewelry designer at The Flowering Earth. A love of jewelry has led me along a path of discovery. I stumbled upon a desire to work with metal and create unique pieces representing various joys in my own life. I find it both interesting and fulfilling that the very same things that inspire me to sketch, write a poem or song, play guitar or piano, also inspire me to create rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets. The way the water flows onto the beach will inspire a curve in a band. The color of the ocean will be reflected in a stone or bead. I believe stones from the earth are healing to both our body and soul. Nature and love are two of my favorite muses and our world offers me a never ending pallet of inspiration.
