Welcome! Thank you for visiting the CHISEL2STONE shop. Dedicated to creating beautiful SOAPSTONE PENDANTS from the remnants of my sculptures. Our wonderful earth took so many millions of years to create it's resources and I hate to waste a fragment!

SOAPSTONE is a natural mineral that has been used by man for thousands of years. SOAPSTONE has been used to create many items ranging from utensils, cookware and stoves to beautiful art. SOAPSTONE is quarried in many parts of the world and is believed to be 300-400 MILLION years old! It is said to possess a grounding and balancing energy. With the ability to create a calm, peaceful atmosphere and purify negative energy.

I have designed my SOAPSTONE PENDANTS to look like fragments of old pottery from the past. Like pieces found in an archaeological dig. Shards of old vessels and jewelry that give just a glimpse of what was. I often leave raw edges, chips and unpolished areas showing the natural state of the stone against the beautiful polish it holds.
