Hi! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Melissa and here's a little background on my crafts. My sister in law Sue makes bracelets and I figured I could make them too. But I didn't like the hassle of working with clasps. Plus, at the time I was a plus-size girl, so most standard size bracelets didn't fit me. :-( Soooo...I discovered stretchy thread! I loved that I could make bracelets to fit my changing size. So if I added a few pounds or lost some, my bracelets would still fit. Well, it turned into an obsession. I loved shopping for beads and making new creations with what treasures I had found. It also was an outlet for me for when I felt the urge to snack. Instead of eating I would make a bracelet or two or ten. Haha! Either way, making things has become a true passion of mine and I’m glad to share it with everyone here at Etsy. I also recently realized that my girls have WAY TOO MANY BOWS. So I headed to the craft shop and picked up some supplies for making low cost bow holders. Yes, there are really beautiful holders out there, but I just wanted to make something lots more affordable, but still cute!
