clardyartist's Shop Announcement

Original art has a tangible and authentic charm all it's own. There is something human in the brushmarks and ancient in it's imperfections. I have been making art and craft all my life. I am happy to know that my art travels far and wide.
I love to use recycled materials, especially wood. When they built my fence last year there were many end peices left over, and a new series of small paintings was born. I go to building centers that sell salvaged wood and windows, remodelling sites (I always ask), thrift stores, yard sales, searching for treasure and supplies. I have dreams of signs that say "free wood".
