Come browse through our closet for a delightful selection of handmade Victorian-inspired Ribbon Cocardes, Kazashi Flowers and Silk Garters.

Cocardes or Coquardes are fanciful ribbon embellishments designed for hats and fashions popular in Victorian times through the 1920's. Cocarde or Coquarde is French for cockscomb - a very befitting name indeed.
Each of my stunning Cocardes are based on original Victorian designs, many of these are crafted of real vintage ribbon and buttons, every creation hand folded and hand sewn by my own patient fingers. You will never see a raw end, where do they go? I make make them "just go away", can you discover the mystery?

Kanzashi is an ancient Japanese art similar to Origami, using artfully hand folded fabric squares to form delicate petals, then sewn together to create sculptural flowers. Kanzashi flowers make a nostalgic statement adorning a hat or purse, ever so charming when worn as a brooch and a sweet delight pinned to baby girl's headband. These flowers also make permanent keepsakes for wedding parties, the perfect everlasting boutonniere.

Our delightful silk garters are handmade by Conelda, Clytemnestra's sister. Each delicate flower embellishment is painstakingly stitched by her sweet little hands.
