The airway is drilled 9/64”. You get the convenience and smooth draw of an unfiltered pipe in a genuine American made corn cob pipe.

I use Hard maple or cherry for the shank. A natural characteristic of cherry is the random appearance of mineral streaks. These are cosmetic only and have no affect on the integrity of the shank.

I use Delrin tenons as I can make a thinner shank and still have superior strength. The airway is 9/64".
