$13.90 USD

We found this 20th century English Ironstone coffeepot in perfect condition at a brocante in France. It shows a typical Staffordshire Farming scene on each side of a horse drawn cart.
This style of English Ironstone ware comes also embossed with flowers around the next of the pot and the words Made in England on the bottom. These were in production from late 1940s through to the 1980s. This item would look perfect in a little country kitchen with rustic charm. Perfect condition with only a little scuffing n the bottom as expected for it's age.

Please contact us for further information

Genuine Shabby Chic 1800s Gold gilt Cherub - Antique from French Victorian period by continentaltreasures

$29.00 USD

A beautiful piece of Shabby art from the Victorian Period (1890s) although we found it in France at a brocante from an old lady that had had it for many years in her French country cottage passed on through the family.
Circa 1890. It represents a cherub playing a small harp with a red velvet background and set in a unique gold painted wood frame. The angel is also made in wood.
Truly beautiful (aprox 30 cm high) and would look fantastic in a Victorian or Colonial period property. Although not limited to these styles as it could make a fantastic addition to a cosy cottage or a must have for any 1800s collectors.

The middle section containing the velvet and cherub is removable so you could just use the beautiful frame should you wish

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more information.
Thanks

Lovely handwritten French business letters (Full Set of 20 items) Paris - pdf Digital Download by continentaltreasures

$3.99 USD

Historic business letters from an early 20th century Parisian lace and ribbon company.
These letters and invoices have all been written very elegantly by hand, showing the high education and class of it's writer being a Mr L. Grandjean the founder and owner of the actual company. (See sample pics of one letter)

The time of writing is quite interesting as all 20 letters were written as WW1 was ending (it finished Nov 11 1918 and the letters are all dated within 6 weeks of it) when business optimism in Paris must have been bubbling as they all knew the end was in sight. In fact in some of these letters the writer makes reference to this fact adding to the historical value. (This letter is the example in the photos)

The handwriting is truly beautiful and there are 20 diverse letters (in pdf) all written by the same L. Grandjean in his classic style.

This is our full set and no other examples of writing from this historic firm are known to exist. Each individual original letter is also for sale and we will be placing the originals on Etsy over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for them. (Only as long as stocks last obviously as they are originals)

A truly beautiful historic item, excellent for graphic designers and or printing and framing in a rustic study or office. Delivered via email attachment so no shipping costs!
