I am a one man wood shop, and a wood treasure hunter. I gather local hardwoods from KY and TN and custom dry them in my kiln. Every piece is made with attention to detail and fine craftsmanship - then sanded to a polished finish, soaked and hand rubbed in Danish penetrating oils and buffed to an exquisite finish. Boxes have hardwood dowels for hinge pins and felt dots on the bottom to protect surfaces.
