Welcome to Coquina Arts! You are veiwing original paintings by Jace Collins. The technique used to create these paintings is completely unique. The technique is called Piralage, which is an acronym for painting in reverse and collage. Each painting is reverse painted and collaged on the backside of a clear sheet of plexiglas. Then each painting is completed with gold oil paint on the front of the glass. This creates extremely vivid colors and totally unique three dimensional paintings!
