Cork is the outer bark of the cork oak tree and can be stripped off allowing new bark to grow in its place without killing or damaging the trees. Reharvesting is done about every 10 years until the tree is approximately 200 years old!
Cork fabric- also known as cork leather- is made by applying the stripped cork onto a fabric backing.
Cork fabric is soft, lightweight, durable and waterproof.
Cleaning is easy – a simple soap and water solution will remove any marks and dirt stains.
