Welcome to the Storytelling Traveler's Photo Collection! A collection of photographs from my adventures across the globe.
For the past decade or so, I have traveled the world in search of the story- any story, everybody's got one! The Storytelling Traveler's Collection showcases my current exploration of the world with my "digital Holga" camera.
As a documentary photographer and commercial multimedia producer, I am usually walking through the world covered in large, cumbersome photographic equipment and struggle at times to just document my world. In using my digital Holga (also known as a smartphone with a special Holga app) I'm able to shed the complexity of professional image making and return to some more raw, simple and human. A simple documentation of the world around me using the basics of my craft- light and composition- to create images of beauty from the remote and sometimes bizarre places I travel to.
All the images in this store were created by me, an award-winning documentary photographer and commercial media producer, without the use of Photoshop or other computer manipulation. These are digital snapshots- in their "raw and unaltered" state.
