The idea for Nothing New came about while wandering through antique markets in northern Italy.

I realized that there are so many things, that despite their beauty and impeccable craftsmanship, no longer have a place in everyday life.

I found precious linen sheets from hope chests, rolls of unused, raw hemp, meticulously embroidered monograms, rare french passamanerie and various curious and relics of a past era, like little red number tags used to identify belongings. I've transformed these unique items into a refined and eclectic home collection, collaborating with local artisans and small specialized factories in the process of dyeing, sewing and finishing the material to create new, practical pieces.
The result is “Nothing New”: fine linens and accessories, each with a story to tell....
