I have been an artist my entire life and have always had a camera . I started painting as a young girl and earned a BFA in my early twenties with a major in painting and minor in drawing.I also took many photography classes. I have been taking photographs for many years.
My art provides me with a freedom of expression into what I value and enjoy. A majority of my images are discovered and captured during the many hours hiking through the natural setting of southwest Michigan, with additional inspiration provided from my own personal extensive gardens, Farm and koi ponds, and are produced in my home Art studio.

To me, digital photography is about possibilities. Working in the digital medium allows me the opportunity to integrate my artistic style into photography. With digital photography, not only am I able to add color and engaging effects, I can create photo collages that closely resemble my paintings. I use Photoshop software on an iMac to enhance images.

My Etsy Gallery has a wide variety of my work.
My Archival Fine Art Photographs and Digital Art have been Altered with Computer software some with acrylic paints ,water color and color pencils.

My "Collages" paintings are made of acrylic paint on arches print paper.They take months and sometimes years to complete.
Each flower is hand cut with a xacto blade.
