I will not ask you for any additional money if I have underestimated the costs.
I use 3 different shipping methods and will choose the best method for your purchase depending on value and size. I will indicate which service I am using in the listing.
Fragile / higher value items - La Poste Colissimo which includes tracking, insurance and a fast delivery time - normally 5-8 working days around the world.
Lower value items under 2kg - La Poste Paquet Prio with tracking - delivery is normally 8-20 days.
Heavy items - Courier service with tracking if this gives better value at the time. Delivery of these items is normally within 2-3 weeks.
Shipping timings may be longer during peak shopping periods.
You can always contact me if you would like information about an alternative method to the one selected.
Damage / breakages - If your item should arrive damaged please notify your postal delivery service immediately and take photos of the packaging and the item/s. The post office is unlikely to refund for damage without this.
VAT / IMPORT DUTES / FEES
I am a registered business in France. I am not registered for VAT and I do not apply or collect VAT. However, it is possible that from July 1st 2021 you will be charged VAT on your purchase by the delivery service when your parcel is delivered. I am aware that some delivery services are also charging additional delivery fees now ‘at the gate’. These too may be subject to VAT.
This is beyond my control and if you wish to cancel your purchase because of this then I totally understand and will issue you a refund in full. Please contact me BEFORE the shipping date, which I will confirm to you via Etsy messages.
Any customs duties and / or import taxes or delivery fees are the buyer's responsibility. Please check out your country’s regulations regarding customs and duties before purchasing.
If a parcel is returned to me because taxes/duties were unpaid on delivery I will refund the purchase price only, (not including shipping fees and any other fees or charges made by Etsy) when I receive the parcel back again. This is on condition that the parcel is received by me in good order, undamaged and in the condition it was sold.
For buyers in Norway, Switzerland and the UK:
Etsy will continue to collect vat and remit it as they are doing now. I will include a breakdown of your purchase costs in a packing slip inside the parcel and also a note of Etsy’s vat registration number in your country on the outside of the parcel.
You may incur fees from the delivery service when your parcel arrives. This is beyond my control and if you wish to cancel your purchase because of this then I totally understand. Please contact me BEFORE the shipping date, which I will confirm to you via Etsy messages.

I'm a great lover of re-using so your item may arrive in a wine or other pre-used box. Usually, packing nuggets used for fragile items are biodegradable.
IMPORTANT RE POSSIBLE SHIPPING DELAYS:
The pandemic is still causing problems in shipping and delivery. In addition, the war in Ukraine has put pressure on air space for freight. Please be aware that delivery times cannot be guaranteed and hold ups may occur.
I will do my best to track your parcel and keep you informed if it is delayed.
