Dave Sheely Designs - plastic is the new gold

davesheelydesigns' Shop Announcement

Dave Sheely Designs are cast in industrial grade urethane -- industrial urethane is not a pour-and-dry process; true urethane requires curing in a pressurized tank. That's what makes it so durable and what sets it apart from other so-called urethanes. This jewelry will not yellow with time, will not become soft or warp in the sun or due to body heat, and is practically shatterproof. Every piece sold here is handmade, hand-colored, and one-of-a-kind.

davesheelydesigns' Shop Policies

Welcome

Welcome to Dave Sheely Designs. I've been working in and out of the rapid prototyping industry for about ten years and I've been making jewelry since the late '80s. I now combine the technical of the former with the creativity of the latter -- the result of which you see here.

Payment

I have found that the simplest and most reliable form of payment is PayPal, so that is all that I currently accept. If you find that you've ordered something by mistake, please let me know as soon as possible so that I don't ship it to you.

I can now accept credit cards as well, for those of you who would prefer to use a service other than Paypal. Select "other" in the payment section at time of purchase. I will submit an invoice to you from Propay, it is a secure site. The invoice will walk you through the rest. Propay takes about three days to process funds, so once the funds have cleared my account, I'll get your item in the mail. Thanks.

If you are a Washington State resident, sales tax will be applied,

Shipping

Typically I will wait about two days after an order has been placed (and paid for) before shipping an item. I've had a surprising amount of sales that were either made mistakenly, or minds were changed after I'd shipped the item and there's really a lot of leg work that I have to do on my end to make it all right with Etsy (reversal of fees, reversal of sale, etc.).

I ship USPS first class.
