Announcement    In 2024, I am making a commitment to use less acrylic yarn and more natural and/or recycled fiber yarns--this means I'm beginning to make more items that use wool and recycled yarns and I'm slowly beginning to phase out acrylic amigurumi. (Yes: recycled yarn is finally being manufactured! It's a new way to keep textiles out of landfills!). I will continue to list acrylic-based scarves and amigurumi in my shop until the acrylic yarn in my inventory whittles away...but I likely won't replenish that acrylic yarn color once it's gone.

This means that 2024 may be my final year making scarves or making a particular Pride scarf design...or, at least, making high-quality scarves for under $35.00.

Alas: natural and recycled fibers are more expensive materials, but they are more earth-friendly. I'm also researching and trying to make sure that the wool, alpaca, etc. yarn I purchase use ethical practices when shearing animals and while employees are exposed to and using or disposing of chemicals and dyes.

You can view which type of yarn fiber I'm using by reading through my product listings--I always note the fiber type under the "materials" section. And, as always, if you have any questions about a product's composition or are looking for a custom order quote, please drop me a line!

Thanks for looking and for being such fantastic customers!
