Sometimes your vintage pattern is missing a facing. Here's how to redraw one.
Tip: If there's a dart in the garment piece, fold that in 1st, so your new facing will be the right size.
Now just add the corresponding notch from the piece your facing will attach to. Your new facing matches the original!

Welcome to Delicious Patterns! I started with over 300 patterns that were just from family. I've since inherited a retired costume designers stock of over 3,000 patterns. I add new vintage finds regularly.

I approach my listings the way I shop for patterns. I want to see the shape of the pattern pieces, read the yardage and materials, etc. My goal with each pattern listing is to provide the information I'd want to see when selecting a new pattern.

If you need help with sewing tips, I may be able to help. Just ask. If I know the answer, I'm happy to share. Don't be afraid to ask about a pattern style you're searching for. I could have what you need in stock.
