SILK SARI RIBBON ;;;;;;This is a ripped rag ribbon. Some have been double processed and bleached out then redyed. This gives alot of the ribbon it's true character of looking old and vintage. You will notice fading and dye spots that give personality to the ribbon. Please keep in mind this recycled silk sari ribbon has it's own personality that you mold into your creation. My multi colored silk sari ribbon has been soaked in a bath of softener gentle enough for your hair. This washes and cleans the ribbon giving it a nice clean smell. All hard starched ribbon has been cut out of my skeins. Sometimes in some silk sari ribbon skeins there is an invisible tape on some of the pieces of ribbon that can only be taken off by soaking it in this solution. Having my multi colored silk sari ribbon soaking in a bath overnight tones the colors down just a bit where as it makes it look vintage. this is a wonderful look for projects.
