Welcome to my shop. It's been empty for months, but that's in the past now.

I'm from Louisiana, but I'm currently living in Texas in an attempt to earn an MFA in Creative Writing. I earned my BA in Creative Writing in Florida. I've been beading for seven years and making beaded bobbin items since January of 2009. Most of what I've done in the year since then is make necklace pendants, and some of them are for sale here in my shop.

The bobbins are metal. To get an idea of the size, a US nickel and a 5 cent Euro coin are both slightly wider in a diameter than the side of a bobbin. The bobbin's side is equal in diameter to British 1p coin. The beads used cover a range of materials. I use glass, metal and stones most often, but I occasionally use shell, wood and plastic/acrylic. I also make the chains, though not from scratch. I buy 40-100" chain links, cut them to size or put several chains together to form a composite.
