Hello, My Friends!~~~I began Dime Store Chic in August of 2009. I spend a lot of time hunting estate sales, thrift shops, flea markets, and anyplace else I can find vintage goodies for you to use in your crafting or home. When I shop, I look for things that I think are cool. And if I think something is cool, then someone else may think so too! It doesn't matter what it is. I see potential in many objects and I know you do to!

I grew up in Richmond, VA and spent the majority of my childhood making things from scraps of this and that and spending time in forts I would build in the woods. My dream was to live the Swiss Family Robinson's tree house. Later I attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where I earned my Bachelor and Master Degrees in Art.

I am a wife and mother of one. I currently live in the shadow of Washington, DC where there is no shortage of excellent opportunities to find great vintage goods!
