Welcome to The Dirty Peaches Clothing, Co.

Each item is handmade with care and love in a smoke-free home. (We have a kitty.)

In all of my pieces I use materials that are rescued or recycled. By rescued, I mean that these were items meant for the trash. Either from factories, closed stores, or retired seamstresses and designers, I get most of my fabric still on the roll, never used, and in beautiful shape. Sometimes these fabrics are vintage. Sometimes much newer. Or I deconstruct and reconstruct garments that I rescue from thrift stores, people's garage sales, and when friends and family are closet-cleaning. I also rescue t-shirts that are so irregular that they can't be sold from the "trash" pile at a local t-shirt distributor.

When screenprinting, I burn my screens in the sun (no energy-hog lightboxes here!) and use scrap wood and old curtains to make the screen itself. All of the inks are non-toxic and last a hella long time!

If I must use new materials, I only go through companies that are making a green effort.

My philosophy is that it doesn't have to be used to be green, but I will always do my best to make beautiful well-made items.

I love to make things and will make things by order always. So if you see something you love but don't think its the right size, color, etc, just let me know, and we can make something together just for YOU.
