3/16/12 - The shop has been successfully moved from Arizona to California, but the move was more difficult and took far longer than expected. The major snow storm that hit as the moving trucks rolled into town didn't help things along either. Production started up later than the estimated March 5th date and has delayed many of your orders. WHAT IS A COOKIE STAMP?

---------------------------> Well, I'm glad you asked...

Cookie Stamps have become a much-loved tradition in countless kitchens around the world. The stamps were once used primarily on dough following the Scandinavian and Pennsylvania Dutch tradition of decorating cookies and cakes with designs from carved stamps, but now these hand-crafted ceramic stamps are not just for decorating beautiful cookies. They can also be used for making a wide variety of arts and crafts out of various clays and paper.

Paper and clay casts can be used for cards, gift bags, scrapbooking, jewelry and all sorts of mixed media crafts. I've made magnets, pendants, beads, pins, children's mobile's, wind catchers, christmas ornaments, wedding favors, birth announcements... I've decorated vases, stone-wear, candles, bags, boxes, picture frames and scrapbook journals. There is no limit to what you can make with a cookie stamp!

Of course, Cookie Stamps are also great fun to use for what they were originally designed for! During the holidays, stamping short bread cookies is a much loved annual event in our house and both the stamps and the cookies make lovely gifts.
