About Divine Planet
As a spiritually minded person, I have an abiding affection for religious and cultural imagery, which is reflected in my jewelry, along with favorite art, icons, and objects. I love discovering and collecting images from all over the world and incorporating them into my work, which, more often than not, involves lots of glitter.
I am very mindful of the importance of sustainable living, and focus my efforts on being an environmentally conscientious artist, using mainly recycled and repurposed materials in my work. For example, the wood in much of my jewelry comes from used trim out of old teardowns.
As many ethnicities, cultures, nationalities, tribes, and languages are found on this planet, so are the number of ideas of God and Spirit. To me, this is a beautiful thing to be celebrated. That’s what makes our world a divine planet.
