ETEGAMI is a traditional Japanese folk art that combines simple hand-painted images with thoughtful words on absorbent washi ("rice paper") postcards. Most of the time I use the traditional sumi ink, gansai water-soluble paints, and writing brushes, but sometimes I use not-so-traditional materials and methods.
