Hello and welcome to Doves’ Nest Designs…by Megan.

Things are twisting and turning, spinning and changing. I feel a wave on inspiration coming on, brought on be music, smiles, hope, friends, colors, kids and much more!!

Everything I sell is handmade and one-of-kind! I have been sewing in one way or another for as long as I can remember. I love to create fun and funky clothing, purses, journals, jewelry and more:)

All of my appliquÈs start as a drawing, and then I make a pattern from that drawing. Appliques are all heat bonded. All loose threads are pulled to the back side and tied multiple times for a quality applique. Everything I make is first sewn with my serger, then with my regular machine to ensure durability and a quality product that will last for years.

I also like to incorporate glass into the pieces. All the glass closures and jewelry are my lamp-worked creations.
