These blank books are great for sketching or for writing, and use a 70lb text paper that takes both ink (including fountain pens!) and pencil beautifully. I fold the paper into signatures, sew the signatures into text blocks, consolidate them with wheat paste, and case them in with beautiful bookcloth and decorative paper over bookboard for a sturdy hardcover binding.
