Thanks for your interest in my Etsy shop!
About my shirts:
All of my shirts are screen printed by me in my studio in Cambridge, MA. I stretch my own screens using supplies from one of the local art supply stores and prepare them using light sensitive emulsion to transfer images that I have designed onto them. Each shirt is individually printed, and in the case of light ink on black fabric they get two layers of ink with a flash cure in between to ensure bright, crisp results.
My store philosophy:
If you are not happy with the product you receive, I want to do everything I can to make you happy.
Payment
I accept PayPal, Credit Cards, check, and money orders for payment. I expect PayPal and credit card payments to be made within two days of check out, and check and money order payments to arrive within two weeks. If I do not receive payments within those time limits I will assume the order was a mistake and will re-list the item(s).
Please include your shipping address, email address, transaction #, and a description of the items you have purchased when sending a check or money order, including the size and style of shirt (ie, "medium hipsters ruin everything girly T").
When a payment has been received I will attempt to send you a confirmation message via email.
I accept credit card payments through PayPal. This includes payment with a credit card. PayPal will let you send a payment via credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account. Simply choose the payment method with the PayPal and credit card logos next to it at checkout, and then click the "Pay with PayPal" button after you have checked out. In the next screen there will be a section that says "Don't have a PayPal account?" Click on the link that says "Continue" and you will be taken to a screen where you can securely fill in your credit card information.
If you make a purchase by mistake, or change your mind after you have checked out through Etsy, please email me at blake [!at] solidstatecircus.com to let me know. I won't be mad, I promise.
Shipping
All order ship via USPS first class mail by default. Shirts will ship within three business days of your order, and a shipping confirmation email will be sent.
If you require or desire another form of shipment simply send me an email (blake@solidstatecircus.com) and we'll see if we can work something out.
If you live in or around Cambridge, MA, and would like to pick up your shirt in person, I'm open to that as well, and you can save on shipping costs! Please email me ahead of time beforehand though to make sure we can schedule a time for pick up.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sometimes when you are making things by hand they don't turn out quite right. I individually inspect each shirt and try to make sure that nothing goes out that I wouldn't personally be proud to wear, but sometimes mistakes are made. If you are unhappy with your shirt please email me (blake@solidstatecircus.com) and let me know what the problem is.
If you would like to exchange your shirt for another because it is misprinted or in some way damaged I am happy to send you a new shirt but I expect you to send the faulty or damaged shirt back to me. I prefer to wait until I have received the damaged or faulty shirt before sending the new one, but if you need the shirt immediately (e.g. for a birthday present or other time sensitive event) I can bend the rules a little if you just let me know what the circumstances are. I will happily cover the return shipping cost (up to $4 per item) in the form of a credit to your PalPal account or a check included in the package with your replacement shirt for all other forms of original payment.
If you need to exchange the shirt for a different size, I am happy to accommodate you when possible. There may be cases where a given design has been discontinued and the size you desire is no longer available. In such a case you may exchange the shirt for one of a different design from my store, or simply send it back for a refund. In the case of an exchange, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the returned item and I'll cover the cose of shipping the new item. In the case of a refund, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the returned item, and the amount of the refund will be that of the original purchase price of the item and will not include a refund for the original shipping cost.
If you simply do not like the shirt, do not want it, and have no desire to ever own anything else that I have made (i.e. you are not interested in any sort of exchange) , please send the shirt back with a note explaining why you are unhappy and I will refund you the full amount, including the return shipping costs (up to $4 per item).
