Welcome, as you are looking around please consider a few facts about bamboo, and why bamboo makes a great material for cutting boards.

Why bamboo?

Sustainability- Element uses only FSC certified bamboo. This means that this rapidly renewable resource has been responsibly harvested and processed. Unlike many of our planets other resources, this one will be around for future generations to enjoy.

Bamboo Kun - The inherent quality in bamboo that makes it naturally resistant to bacteria.

Moisture resistance - Bamboo is naturally resists moisture. Wood tends to warp when it is exposed to excessive moisture. Because bamboo is a grass and naturally resists moisture, it will not warp like wood.

Strength - Bamboo can be up to 4 times stronger then oak. This means that Element can make products that are very thin yet are very strong also.
