I've been moving toward making most of my findings from scratch. I try to avoid the use of store-bought headpins, eye pins, jump rings, or ear wires. I use tarnish resistant silver-plated wire whenever possible. This helps to lower my supply costs, making it possible to offer affordable pieces that will stay bright and shiny much longer than if made from pure silver.
