I have always be drawn to the shapes and the colours of the products, textiles and clothes of the 1940s 1950s and 1960s.

From a young age my grandmother taught me to sew, make lace, crochet and knit. My grandmother was a dress maker and I think I get my passion for creating and making from her.

After studying at Art college in London I was lucky enough to work for a number of small independent fashion designers and interior designs, all of who work with vintage and antique textiles. This gave me a taste & the experience of what it is like to run your own business and I loved it!

Having my first home of my own I soon started scouring the charity shops and markets of london finding unique one off vintage pieces to adorn my home.

Wanting to share my finds and upcyled hand make pieces with the world I opened my etsy shop 4 years ago. From here Emma Loves has grown to include bigger pieces of furniture and I have gained a fiancee and business partner Dominic and a PA, my cat Roxy.

Emma Loves is growing fast, we are currently building a studio in our garden, which we are calling our "posh shed" to house our ever growing collection of vintage finds.
