I’ve tried my hand at many different crafts but nothing has quite captured my attention like leather crafting.

Creating each piece is lengthy but gratifying. Every piece starts as a thought and is then drawn out until the design is just right. I then transfer the design to the leather to be cut, carved, stamped and shaped, bringing the design to life. The next creative step is dying and colouring, hand sewing and riveting, then my little piece of perfection is complete.

I find great satisfaction in seeing my creations come from a single thought to a completed piece of art. To know that something I’ve created will be used and enjoyed by people is very fulfilling.
