“Don’t take life too seriously and love what the earth has given you.” This is the motto Shelly grew up with and the one that inspires her today. Combined with memories of her mother’s 1970s jewelry collection and her grandmothers’ big rings and chunky necklaces, Shelly developed an appreciation for unique and beautiful adornment.
Shelly created em’s studio out a love for jewelry that combines organic shapes with the youthful spirit of a child. Striking semi-precious stones, shells and other gifts from the earth are individually chosen for their unique characteristics and set into a one-of-a-kind design. Shelly named her design business after her amazing little niece Emma, who always manages to show her aunt a spirited and youthful world.
