My own collection of handmade keepsakes include pillows, cushions, opera bags and purses, corsages and lavender filled pomanders.
When i am not sewing i gather together antique and vintage papers and all manner of found objects to produce little offerings of mixed media art work. These are in the form of tags, framed and unframed collages, and wall decorations.
The inspiration for all of my handmade work most definitley comes from the past, but always with a nod towards the avant garde.
My interests are many, mostly coming from history, architecture, literature and the arts.
