"Shibori" refers to the method of resist dyeing fabric to create patterns and designs. Resists can be created by stitching, clamping, or otherwise binding the cloth. One of the things I love about dyeing fabric this way is that there is an element of surprise to each piece. I never know exactly how each one will turn out, and each one is one-of-a-kind.
