Erin Ashley describes her style as painting without rules.

Always experimenting with new techniques, she paints with a wide range of color and textures, evoking the old with the new. Seeing beauty in old weathered things, like layers of chipped paint, rusted metals and old buildings, excites her and sparks new ideas. She likes to create a happy escape for the viewer, and thinks of each piece as a journey ending at a beautiful destination.

Her abstracts have an edgy vibe and contain a wide range of color and texture, but are balanced with modern fashionable design. Her paintings bring a dynamic pop of color to wherever they are hung, but the compositions remain livable and accessible.
