ErinFrost's Shop Announcement

Welcome! I spent most of my childhood wandering the dusty aisles of antique stores and flea markets. My family spent hours and sometimes whole days scouring shops looking for the missing piece for their eternally “almost” complete collections. As a young adult, I turned to flea markets, yard sales and antique shops to furnish my home. (It was definitely cheaper and more interesting than the big box store look.) This genetically disposed passion finally turned into a family business. My mother and I opened our first antique booth in 2000 concentrating on kitchen and garden antiques. We love scouring yard sales and junk marts for beautiful things we can transform and resell. But the antiques market has really changed, even in 7 years. The overstuffed shops and barns of my youth are slowly going out of business, more and more stores move online. Today’s customer uses antiques differently. No longer content to surround themselves with a total look from the past, they use unique (single) artifacts to set off their more contemporary pieces. It is a great trend, one I practice in my own home. So we too have followed the trend moving online to sell our vintage finds. We do miss the days of staging our booth but love having a wider audience. Welcome to our online vintage shop, Fork & Tine.
