I am a handspinner & handknitter, and therefore fussy about my products. At this time, we have 28 sheep and since I can only spin so much, I send a lot out to 2 different mills to be spun into yarn for me. What is offered here will be my hand dyed/hand painted yarns.
From time to time, there will also be made available roving, batts and dyed fleece. For raw fleece, check out the blog from February to April.
My husband is building me a dye kitchen in the basement, so I will be able to do a lot more dyeing. All my previous dyeing was done in our kitchen on our regular stove. Now I will be able to dye at any hour of the day (or night) and not have to worry about getting dye on anything in the kitchen.
So stayed tuned for more dyed items!!
Occasionally, I will list my hand knit items as well.
Anything that is sold from this site goes back to the animals as grain & hay.
