Returns
Returns are taken only for significantly not as described or damaged goods. Refunds are given if items are lost in the post- I do consider it my responsibility to get your items to you, even if I have to rely on the postal system to do it :)
I send items of a certain value with tracking to minimise this risk, but I've been selling online for 10 years and so far very few orders have gone astray.
When items are returned to me due to errors on your part such as wrong address, refusal of pick-up etc I will either ask for additional shipping fees to re-send it or refund your item minus the cost of shipping, whichever you prefer.
Items returned to me without previously arranging with me to do so are not protected by Etsy's policies.
Refunds on damaged items
Any items which arrive damaged will be refunded either in part or whole depending on the damage.
It is important you contact me through Etsy's conversation system with photographic proof of the damage (including the packaging if necessary) in order for the refund process to engage.
Payment agencies require you send the damaged goods back to me before I refund; this is often expensive for you, so in most cases the photos will do, again depending on the damage.
Condition of items listed
90% my inventory is real vintage; please expect tiny flaws as the objects have usually lived a full life. Beads may have tiny chips, paper has age, lace has rust marks etc. This is the imperfect beauty of vintage!
I will note everything I consider to be a flaw in the listing description, please do read it fully and study the images - you can tap the image on a device (or click on 'zoom' if you're using a computer) to get a close up of things. if you're on a computer you can also right-click and select 'view image' for an even bigger size.
