Looking for handspun yarn and spinning fiber? See my other shop, Feistywoman Handspun
http://www.etsy.com/shop/FeistywomanHandspun
Feistywoman Designs offers accessories knitted from my handspun yarns, knitting patterns designed for handspun yarns, spinning/knitting kits for the Do It Yourselfers (coming soon!). I have always loved color and am drawn to it like a moth to the light. I am at my best when in the outdoors enjoying the peace and natural rhythms around me. From these two touchstones I draw the inspiration for my fiber, yarns and finished pieces. I keep accurate notes on the batts I make, so can approximately duplicate most yarns spun from my own fiber blends; if you would like more than one of a certain accessory or the same accessory in a different color/fiber blend, send me a convo to see if I can produce more (sometimes colors have been discontinued by my suppliers).
Please refer to my Shop Policy page for shipping and payment instruction.

TEACHING COMMITMENTS 2013:
I have finally been able to get together with Lisa at Darn Yarns in Harmony, PA to set dates for classes. Starting April 14 I will be teaching Spindle and Wheel Spinning, along with Beginning Knitting and some knitting skill-building classes. We're both hoping that this will grow into a healthy spinning and weaving resource for the local folks.
And for those of you who are puppy owners, No, I don't spin other people's dog fur. It would just take too much time away from what I really want to do--making spinning batts and yarn in lots of colors. If you do a Google search (or whatever search engine you use) on "spinning dog fur" or "spinning chiengora", you'll come up with several folks who do dog fur.
