Greetings friends. I am an abstract artist/blogger named Felix Phasmatis (faz-MAT-iss), AKA: The Ghost of Modern Art.
My artwork comes from someone that can not be connected with age, race, social status or other such things. I am a ghost. My work reflects and connects with the happy spirit that exists within the core of us all beyond the physical.
When I tell you that I am an abstract artist it has a double meaning. I make abstract art, but I am also an artist who happens to BE abstract. A living breathing work in progress. Modern art by modern art.
Yeah…. It’s pretty cool.
I have a symbiotic relationship with my art. As Felix, I literally become it. I create it and it creates me back. Much like a yin-yang, the work and I coexist as one. When you own my art you literally own a piece of me. We’re all connected…
According to the english-latin dictionary:
FELIX: lucky, fortunate, happy.
PHASMA PHASMATIS: ghost, spirit, specter
Phasma is my middle name. So if you would like to be formal, call me Felix P. Phasmatis. But you don’t have to be formal. In fact, I prefer that you don’t. Felix is fine.
