This landmark shop in Portland Maine has been crafting unique merchandise continually since 2001. Over the years, shop owner Diane Toepfer has made millions of things.
She is a prolific! And now with the addition of a 3000 lb. letterpress in the studio area in the back of the shop, Diane has been producing new greeting cards constantly.

For a recent vacation, Diane went on a shopping trip scoring 400 lbs of vintage clothing. Wow! She also picked up vintage sweatshirts and paper to print on. The fun never ends!

Ferdinand has been around since the east end of Portland was considered a marginal neighborhood, and before etsy and indy craft fairs popularized DIY. It is a personal and idiosyncratic shop that continually adapts to reflect the varied interest of it's owner. Most everything in the shop is under $25 and inventory changes continually.
