Hello and welcome to fiber fluke! When I first started hand-dyeing fiber, I had a lot of wonderful, fluke-y results. Things are a bit more scientific now...but I admit I still have that fab moment of anticipation every time I rinse a batch and see how it turned out.
I once said that if I ever had the need to name colorways, I'd name 'em all after Over the Rhine songs. OtR is my very favorite band, and they've given me words when I lacked them many a time. I asked and they graciously gave me permission to borrow their words for use here. They're good folk...and they make GREAT music.
