50% of proceeds from sales of baby and children's items will go to the adoption fund for my son and his wife who have begun the process to adopt siblings from Ethiopia. There are reportedly 5 million orphans in Ethiopia, mostly victims of the AIDS epidemic. As it is difficult to find homes for siblings together, the children are routinely split up. Therefore, in order to stay together, many children are running households themselves, working to earn a living any way they can, and caring for younger siblings themselves. The situation is desperate. My kids are looking to adopt up to four siblings together to keep their family intact while providing a loving home for these lonely children.
