filecutter's Shop Announcement

☼ BUTTONS ☼ BUTTONS ☼ BUTTONS ☼ BUTTONS ☼ BUTTONS ☼
Recently acquired from an old 5 & 10 store in a small town in Texas are vintage carded buttons. Many are available in larger lots than the listing and pictures show and I welcome your convos if you are in search of larger quantities. All are full cards which may show some color fading and store soiling but the buttons are OK. Wonderful NOS vintage 1950s/1970s BUTTONS.

WELCOME TO FILECUTTER'S "Round To It And Vintage"
Joy Of Tatting is joining me and I am so happy to now offer, in addition to vintage and modern sewing patterns, sewing notions, crafts supplies and now original framed and unframed tatted art. Many surprises are also found in our shop and waiting for you to discover. We attend many estate sales and auctions to bring you the large and varied selection of items listed. Stay awhile and check us out, we know you will have fun.

BUT YOU ASK "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS TATTING"
Tatting is rich in history and believed to be first used by ancient mariners for their fishing nets. Because of it durability and longevity this may be the true origin of this art form. Often called the art of knotted lace, today's tatting may date back to the early 1800s.
It is truly a delicate art form, almost lost and forgotten but now we are trying to revive it in are own special way.
