fivetrees' Shop Policies
Welcome to the Fivetrees shop! I'm happy to have you here and am hoping that my work makes you smile.
I only accept paypal. It's an amazing company and service that protects both seller and buyer!
I ship my items both by FedEx and by USPS, always one business day after purchase. When I am unable to complete shipping that quickly, that is always noted on my front page and in the message to buyers that follows purchase.
Each piece in my shop is one-of-a-kind. If it gets lost in the mail, I don't have a replacement in my inventory. So, I always ask for a direct signature during shipment. If you would prefer me not to do so, please include that in your message to the seller when you purchase an item.

Additional Policies and FAQs
Nearly always, in every situation, I use wool. There's nothing as durable as wool or as pleasurable to work with--knitters know what I'm talking about. It has a kind of give that's easier on the hands when knitting and crocheting and without fail, the most beautiful and richest color palettes of yarn are found in wool yarns.
I am dedicated to making heirloom quality toys. And while they don't look like the toys your grandparents may have played with, they are built to last. Yarn isn't as tough as plastic or rubber or wood, but I do make toys that can withstand a huge amount of love. All dolls parts are double sewn. Many of the toys have safety eyes and those that don't, have button eyes that are sewn carefully and thoroughly on.
While these little guys can certainly be squeezed and trailed around the house by one arm or one ear, not all of the toys are meant for very young children. Some are a little scary. The toys that include buttons or sequins in their ingredient list, could be choking hazards. These toys are better suited for older folks.
Other woolen goodies:
My Scarflettes and Ringcatchers are all one of a kind. I don't use patterns and I make them in small runs with small collections of fine yarn. You should have a one of a kind creation that no one else has. That's certainly the joy of being able to sew or knit--being able to make one of a kind creations that can't be found in department stores--and I want to pass that joy along to my customers!
