The Barn Star originated about 300 years ago with religious refugees, one being the Amish. They were once painted directly on the barn but crafter's changed that. After the '90's, thin sheets of steel started being used. The unfinished stars would rust and have become quite popular. The Barn Star has been referred to as "good luck" by farmers and especially the Amish. Thus, their reasoning for hanging them on their barn. This is a belief still passed on today.

I want to thank all those who have read my bio and wished my husband and I well. It means so much. Your prayers, with the help of the Lord and our children, make getting up each day easier. Thank you.
