My series of “Dancing Ladies” has evolved through the years as I have evolved as an artist. When I started this series eight years ago, the paper dolls I cut out to create the design were uptight ladies with short skirts and high heel shoes. Over the years as I have loosened up as an artist, my dancing ladies have also loosened up. This is one of my most popular series. I have found that it appeals to women of all ages who buy sets of them (trays, plates, mugs, etc.) as gifts for family members or ladies groups with the number of “dancing ladies” representing the number of ladies in their family or group.
